On December 30, the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology announced the list of proposed supported projects for the 2026 Qingdao Key Technology Breakthrough and Science and Technology for Public Welfare Demonstration Special Program. The technological innovation project "Research and Development of a Holistic Performance Monitoring System for Power Plants Based on Thermodynamic Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence," submitted by the company, was successfully selected.

The Qingdao Key Technology Breakthrough Project is a crucial component of Qingdao’s science and technology plan, designed to align with the city’s key industrial development strategies and major technological needs. By organizing efforts to tackle core technological challenges, it accelerates the demonstration and application of new technologies and products, strengthens and supplements innovation and industrial chains, and fosters the development of new productive forces. The project selected by the company closely follows the trend of energy transition and digital integration, innovatively combining thermodynamic principles with digital twin and artificial intelligence technologies to create a holographic situational awareness system covering all scenarios in power plants. This system establishes a comprehensive, precise, and intelligent performance analysis framework. Through independent research and development of core technologies and system integration, it further achieves autonomous control and comprehensive upgrades in intelligent analysis and optimized operation technologies for power plants, along with breakthroughs in industrial software.
