Luneng Hexi CSP Project Reaches New Historic High of Monthly Power Generation

As of 0:00 on September 1, Luneng Haixi CSP Plant achieved a monthly power generation of 18.266 million kWh in August, exceeding the monthly plan by 2.266 million kWh, once again setting a new record for the highest monthly power generation since the plant’s commissioning.

Since the beginning of this year, the O&M team has consistently taken technological innovation as the primary driver for increasing production and efficiency, focusing on the goal of "absorbing more heat, reducing losses, and ensuring stable output." By optimizing the tube panel cleaning process, the heat absorption efficiency of the collector field was significantly improved by 36.7%, directly supporting the growth of power plant generation; independently developed the "key technology for intelligent repair of absorber component coatings in CSP plants", improving defect identification accuracy to 98.5% and the overhaul and modification pass rate from 82% to over 95%; introduced an online oil filtration device, completed the optimization of heliostat field focusing coordinates and oil filtration for 4,400 sets of mirror hydraulic transmission mechanisms across the entire heliostat field, providing a solid guarantee for full and stable output of the unit.

This new monthly power generation record fully demonstrates the ompany’s professional advantages in the field of CSP O&M. Going forward, the company will continue to follow the Company’s "Year of Project Management Improvement" work requirements, adhere to the dual-drive approach of technological innovation and management improvement, empower efficient heliostat field concentration and stable unit power generation through refined management, and drive the project toward high-quality performance.
