Company Hosts Third Quarter Safety Committee Meeting and Thunder Action Progress Review

In order to thoroughly implement the company’s safety production work requirements and deploy key safety control tasks for the fourth quarter, the company held the Third Quarter Safety Committee Meeting and a progress meeting for the Safety Production "Thunder Action" on the afternoon of October 20. The meeting was chaired by Peng Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company. Members of the company’s leadership team, members of the Safety Committee, and heads of all units attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on communicating and studying the recent safety production related conference spirits and document requirements from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), the Group Corporation, and the company. Attendees studied and reflected on the warning letters concerning fatal accidents at Sinohydro Bureau 1 Co., Ltd. and Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co., Ltd. Reports were presented on the safety production situation in the third quarter of 2025, hidden hazard investigations, and the supervision and inspection status of the "Thunder Action". In light of the current safety production situation, the "Thunder Action" was re-arranged and re-deployed, with targeted improvement suggestions put forward.
At the meeting, Peng Hong put forward the following requirements for coordinating the advancement of the safety production "Thunder Action" and ensuring safety production work in the fourth quarter:
First, all units must consolidate responsibilities and adopt resolute and effective measures to strengthen production organization, fire safety, high-risk operations, natural disaster prevention, and emergency management, strictly preventing lapses in management and loss of control at work sites.
Second, focus on key links. All units should treat the "Thunder Action" as the core task of current safety production management, and promote specialized safety rectification through multiple measures to ensure the action is implemented effectively.
Third, deepen warning education. All units must deeply learn the lessons from accident disasters involving central state-owned enterprises and brother units within the Group Corporation, thoroughly carry out accident warning education, enhance the safety awareness of all employees, and resolutely hold the bottom line of "zero accidents".
In the next step, the company will strictly implement the company’s safety production work arrangements, vigorously advance the in-depth and solid implementation of the "Thunder Action" for safety production and the fundamental improvement campaign, and make every effort to achieve the annual safety production targets.
