Morocco Jerada O&M Project Surpasses 20 Billion kWh in Cumulative Electricity Generation

Recently, the cumulative power generation of Morocco Jerada 350MW Coal-fired Power Plant, has exceeded 20 billion kWh. Since its completion and commissioning, the unit has been operating safely and stably for 2,630 consecutive days, thanks to its excellent performance. It has made significant contributions to Morocco's power energy construction, economic development, and people's livelihood security, becoming the most reliable coal-fired unit in Morocco.
As Morocco's first supercritical coal-fired unit, this project marks the inaugural EPC turnkey project undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Morocco. It also heralds the beginning of cooperation between China and Morocco in the field of power operation and maintenance, undertaking the country's primary power generation and grid peak regulation tasks. In 2025, the Moroccan Jerada O&M Project, in alignment with the company's "Management Innovation Year" initiative, centered its efforts around the core objectives of safe unit operation and contract fulfillment, leveraging the integrated mechanism of "production + operation + fuel" to continuously implement coal consumption control for the generating units. The specialized optimization work for boiler combustion involves dynamically adjusting the operating parameters of the unit, enhancing its health level and power generation efficiency, and fully ensuring that the unit load can "withstand, maintain, and stabilize". It effectively fulfills the roles of a "ballast" and "stabilizer" in energy supply guarantee, laying a solid foundation for achieving the annual production and operation goals.
