On December 16, the Morocco Jerada O&M Project received a congratulatory letter from the Moroccan National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE). The letter warmly congratulated the project’s O&M team on the successful completion of the November unit minor overhaul and highly commended their outstanding achievement in leveraging professional expertise to enable the unit's early grid connection during the maintenance period.

Due to the tight load on Morocco’s power grid and high electricity demand, the owner shortened the Jerada unit’s minor overhaul period from 20 days to 16 days. Faced with the severe challenge of tight schedules and heavy tasks, the project team meticulously planned the maintenance strategy, comprehensively organized the overhaul tasks, and strictly adhered to the maintenance plan and safety management requirements. After 15 days of continuous effort, the overhaul was completed one day ahead of schedule, and the unit successfully achieved a one-time startup and grid connection, earning unanimous recognition from the owner.

Since its commissioning, the Jerada Power Plant has consistently completed its annual power generation targets ahead of schedule for seven consecutive years, with a cumulative generation exceeding 17.8 billion kWh. It has made significant contributions to Morocco's power and energy development as well as to the livelihoods of its people, earning widespread praise from the owner and local government. The plant has also been featured in reports by French media outlet DayFR Euro and Moroccan media L’Opinion, effectively enhancing the company’s reputation and influence in Morocco. Going forward, the project team will continue adhering to the principles of "high standards, strict discipline, meticulous execution, and practical results", further improving O&M technical capabilities and service quality, delivering outstanding performance to honor the parent company’s 40th anniversary.
