As of 8:00 PM local time on December 14, Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project Team had generated a cumulative total of 728.06288 million kWh of electricity, successfully completing the 2024 annual power generation tasks 17 days ahead of schedule.

In 2024, Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project Team diligently implemented the company’s “Operation and Management Control Year” initiatives. The team remained focused on achieving the annual power generation target, intensifying inspections of power plant units, and leveraging downtime to systematically conduct defect elimination and maintenance tasks. Despite the challenges posed by Myanmar’s unstable political situation and frequent military conflicts, the team enhanced on-site security measures, reinforced safety production responsibilities, and thoroughly addressed multiple defects and risks affecting the units' operational health. These efforts significantly improved the efficiency of the plant’s equipment operations. Ultimately, the team completed the 2024 power generation tasks 17 days ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation for Class A overhaul of the units in 2025.

Moving forward, all employees of the project team will continue to adhere to the work approach of “mitigating risks, ensuring contract fulfillment, strengthening management, and improving quality and efficiency”. Following the principle of “repair what needs to be repaired, and repair it well”, the team will steadily advance the 2025 Class A overhaul work, further enhancing project operation and management. With high-quality and efficient performance, they aim to celebrate the parent company's 40th anniversary with outstanding achievements.
