To further enhance the project team's emergency response capabilities in the face of fires and other emergencies, on the morning of December 9, the operation and maintenance team of Pakistan Haveli Project, in collaboration with the Fire Emergency Rescue Team of Punjab Thermal Power Limited (PTPL), organized a fire emergency drill for both Chinese and foreign employees.

The drill was based on a fire caused by a short circuit in the project’s sewage pump electrical circuit, which ignited the wall ventilation filter. The simulation covered various scenarios such as personnel evacuation, fire extinguishing, and emergency medical care. At 11:00 AM, following the fire alarm, the project team immediately activated the emergency response plan. The emergency rescue team of the project reported the fire situation and requested support through the "Fire Emergency Rescue Hotline" established with the Fire Emergency Rescue Team of Punjab Thermal Power Limited (PTPL). Upon receiving the report, PTPL promptly dispatched a rescue team to the site for emergency firefighting. The fire was effectively controlled, and the drill achieved the intended results.

This drill tested the scientific and effective nature of the project team's emergency response plan, and effectively enhanced the team’s ability to respond to fire emergencies and coordinate actions. Moving forward, the project team will continue to strengthen equipment maintenance and management to ensure that safety production work is controllable and under control, safeguarding the safe and stable operation of the units.
