Pakistan Haveli O&M Project Was Awarded the Annual Environment Excellence Award

Recently, the National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH) of Pakistan held the award ceremony for the 22nd 'Annual Environment Excellence Award'. After evaluation by an expert committee, Pakistan Haveli O&M Project was awarded the 'Annual Environment Excellence Award' for its outstanding ecological environment construction and green environmental management. This is the fourth consecutive year since 2022 that the project has received this honor.

The National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH), approved by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), is a non-governmental organization. The 'Annual Environment Excellence Award' aims to recognize enterprises and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to building a 'Green Pakistan' in terms of sustainable development and environmental protection.

At the award ceremony, Naeem Qureshi, President of NFEH, stated that since the commissioning of the Haveli O&M Project, it has strictly adhered to international environmental standards, consistently balancing production operations with ecological protection, continuously restoring the surrounding ecosystem of the project site, and actively supporting the local green and sustainable development of Pakistan, setting an example for other enterprises.

Winning this award fully demonstrates the high recognition of the Pakistani government for the project's proactive fulfillment of social responsibilities and continuous improvement of the local ecological environment. In the next step, the project team will continue to implement the development concept of 'innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing', deepen green operation and maintenance management, make greater contributions to local ecological protection, and strive to write a new chapter of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between China and Pakistan in the field of power energy.
