Iraq Garraf O&M Project Collaborates with Owner for Successful 'PGP HSE Day' Event

On September 7, the Iraq Garraf O&M Project jointly held the "PGP HSE Day" thematic event with the owner, PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Holding B.V.(PCIHBV), and was awarded a special commendation certificate by the owner.

The event was rich in content, compact in schedule, and featured many highlights. During the safety knowledge sharing session, representatives from both sides shared the practical application of the PTW system in safety production, the key role of the LOTO system in energy isolation, and key points of electrical hazard control. They analyzed common execution misunderstandings and emphasized the significant importance of standard procedures in ensuring personnel safety. In the safety knowledge competition session, a digital quiz format was used on site. All participants joined simultaneously through mobile clients, and the system updated personal rankings in real time. The contestants were highly focused and raced against time, creating a tense and fierce competition atmosphere. This session greatly enhanced the fun and engagement of the event through the innovative competition model, achieving the expected effect of "promoting learning through competition and promoting application through learning".

During the event, M Lazim Deraman, Site Operations Manager of PCIHBV, delivered a speech. He highly praised the project O&M team for their rigorous and practical work style and professional technical capabilities during the technical modification of Gas Turbine Unit 3. While efficiently advancing the unit modification task and ensuring the stable operation of other units, the team has also achieved remarkable results in safety production management, risk prevention and control, and safety culture building, making important contributions to the smooth operation of the oil field.

In the next step, the project will continue to adhere to the work philosophy of "reducing risks, ensuring compliance, strengthening management, and improving quality and efficiency", efficiently promote subsequent gas turbine modification tasks, and contribute greater strength to the safe and stable operation of the oil field and the high-quality development of the company’s overseas business.
