Jordan DISI PV Commissioning & Operation Project Achieves Second-Year O&M Power Generation Goal 20 Days Early
2025-09-16
On September 15 local time, the Jordan DISI PV Commissioning & Operation Project announced the exciting news that it had completed the second-year O&M power generation task 20 days ahead of schedule, demonstrating the professional O&M capabilities and efficient execution strength of Huafeng Weiye Company’s project team in overseas project implementation.
Since taking over the O&M work on October 5, 2023, the Jordan DISI PV Commissioning & Operation Project team, under the overall guidance of the company’s EPC project department, has continuously advanced the refined management of equipment. Facing adverse factors such as high summer temperatures, frequent sandstorms, and increasing grid load in Jordan, the project formulated special operation strategies, strengthened the inspection and maintenance of key equipment such as inverters, combining manifolds, SVG, and high-voltage lines, and implemented measures including cooling system checks and cable tie replacements to effectively enhance equipment health and overall operational reliability. To improve equipment power generation efficiency, the project relied on the SCADA system to monitor operating parameters in real time, optimized equipment operation modes based on meteorological conditions, and regularly carried out PV panel cleaning campaigns to effectively reduce the adverse impact of dust shading on the power station’s output. Through strict implementation of hidden danger investigation and closed-loop rectification, unplanned equipment outages were significantly reduced, and equipment availability continued to improve, providing a solid guarantee for the steady growth of the power station’s generation output and the early completion of the first and second-year O&M power generation tasks.
As the first PV power station project undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Jordan, the long-term safe and efficient operation of the Jordan DISI PV Power Station has provided clean and stable power support for Jordan’s social and economic development, effectively alleviated the electricity pressure on nearby water plants, improved local residents’ electricity conditions, and further enhanced the company’s brand awareness and influence in the Jordanian and Belt and Road Initiative power markets.
