Description
Detailed introduction:
Name: Partial expansion project of combined gas turbine in Samarai Power Station, Jordan
Unit capacity: 300MW
Unit category: combined cycle gas turbine
Address: 35 km north of Amman, Jordan, about 4 km northeast of Hussein Thermal Power Station, south of the road connecting Samra Waste Water Treatment Plant and Al Hashemya/Zerqa
The Jordan project has already built a phase project at the site of the project, located on the northeast side of the site. The construction scale is 2 9E gas turbines + 2 waste heat boilers and 1 steam turbine generator set. This project is an extension project of the second phase project, located on the southwest side of the site. Two 9E gas turbines have been built, that is, a single cycle has been completed. The construction scale of this phase is 2 sets of waste heat boilers and 1 set of steam turbine generator sets, which is to improve the thermal cycle part of the second phase project. When the combined cycle is completed, the total power generation of the second phase project is about 300MW.
The EPC project for the expansion of the combined cycle gas turbine of the Samari Power Station in Jordan began commissioning in December 2009. The Jordan project is our company's first project in the Middle East. The scope of work includes the whole plant's gas turbine, steam turbine, boiler, water, electrical, DCS, performance test and other sub-systems and complete set of commissioning tasks. The requirements of all parties in the Middle East project are very strict, and we have put forward high requirements and challenges. We need to do all the preparatory work in advance, which will lay a good foundation for our future high quality and high efficiency work. The commitment of this project will further enhance and enrich our company's debugging capabilities and qualifications in the gas turbine field, and further develop a sound foundation for the Middle East power market. In August 2010, we completed the project on time and with high quality with our superb technology and positive and responsible attitude.
