The Saudi Zavar project is the second project commissioned by our company in Saudi Arabia. It is located in the Ras Al-Khair industrial area on the west coast of the Persian Gulf in eastern Saudi Arabia. The project is a new 3041 MW combined cycle power plant, including 5 sets of 9F combined cycle units, 1 set of single cycle units and booster stations. The owner is Saudi Seawater Desalination Company (SWCC). The main design party of the project is the American SRL company, and the main equipment supplier is Siemens. The entire project scope includes the construction of a new 2400 MW combined cycle power plant and a supporting 1025 Tm3/d desalination plant, including 5 sets of 9F combined cycle units, 1 set of single cycle units and associated auxiliary equipment. The fuel for the gas turbine is mainly natural gas, and the fuel is auxiliary fuel. The waste heat boiler is a horizontal, single-pressure, refueling, natural circulation, high-pressure waste heat boiler manufactured by Doosan. It is heated by the exhaust gas of Siemens SGT6-5000F and is suitable for natural gas and fuel. In this project, our company is not only responsible for commissioning service projects such as DCS configuration, electrical value calculation, transfer trial operation, performance test, etc., but also undertakes the operation and maintenance of the project.
From August 2012, the first batch of personnel of our company began to enter. The main tasks completed by the personnel on December 30, 2014 were boiler steam blowing and total start-up. The main work in progress is to submit the BLOCK40 public DCS file package, which is hydrophobic. System commissioning, public distribution room to DCS signal transmission, start 31, 32 boilers to Doosan for low pressure steam.
