Description
Located in Zwar city, this project is invested by Saudi Arabia Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and the project consists of a gas turbine combined circulation power plant and saline water conversion plant. The main designer is America SRL Company and the main equipment supplier is Siemens Group.
The capacity of the newly built combined circulation power plant is 2400MW and matched 1025Tm3/d saline water conversion plant. There are 5 sets of 9F combined circulation units, one set of single circulation unit and relevant auxiliary equipments. The main fuel is natural gas with fuel oil as auxiliary fuel. The waste heat boiler is Cornish, single pressure, with after combustion, natural circulation, high-pressure waste heat boiler manufactured by Doosan Company and heated by the waste gas of the Siemens SGT6-5000F combustion engine. The waste gas from the natural gas and fuel oil is applicable.
