On June 22, the company received a Letter of Appreciation from the Malaysia Sabah Kibing Self-Owned Power Plant EPCC General Contracting Project Department of POWERCHINA Fujian Electric Power Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd., which expressed high recognition for the company project team’s successful completion of the 6,000-hour periodic overhaul and maintenance work for Unit 4 of the Malaysia Sabah Kibing Project.
In the face of unfavorable factors such as tight overhaul schedule and limited working space, the project team scientifically coordinated the preparation of construction plans, optimized process arrangements, collaborated with MAN manufacturer technical personnel to tackle challenges, systematically identified and properly addressed various historical outstanding defects of the main engine, and orderly advanced the full-process overhaul procedures including cylinder and piston disassembly and overhaul, as well as systematic maintenance of all auxiliary systems supporting Unit 4. Ultimately, the project team completed all overhaul tasks ahead of schedule, achieved one-time successful start-up of the unit, and after full-load operation, all operating parameters remained stable and excellent, with overhaul quality fully meeting standards, laying a solid foundation for the long-term safe and stable operation of the unit.
