Feicheng 2×300MW Phase I Salt Cavern Compressed Air Energy Storage Commissioning Project Completes Power Transfer Test for Unit 1

2026-06-12

At 13:28 on June 12th, the company’s Feicheng 2×300MW (Phase I) salt cavern compressed air energy storage commissioning project successfully completed the power transfer test for Unit 1. The 220kV system, main transformer, and high-voltage auxiliary transformer equipment of the power station were successively powered on smoothly, and all operational parameters met the standards, marking the successful completion of a key milestone task for the project.

Power transfer-back is a crucial pre-core process during the commissioning phase of energy storage power stations, and it is also the key foundation for ensuring the smooth progress of subsequent equipment trial operation and system commissioning work. To ensure a high standard and zero errors in winning the battle of power transfer-back, the commissioning team of Huafeng Weiye Company faced the unfavorable factors such as complex on-site environment, numerous cross-operations, and strict commissioning standards. They coordinated with various participating units, refined the unit commissioning plan, strictly implemented safety control, orderly carried out equipment verification and pre-commissioning work, strictly controlled every process and every detail, and efficiently completed all preparatory work before the equipment was energized. This provided important technical support for the successful power transfer-back of the unit at the first attempt, and was highly recognized by the owner, supervisor, and various participating units.

The successful completion of the power transfer operation has officially kicked off the trial operation of the project sub-units, laying a solid foundation for subsequent core tasks such as subsystem commissioning, complete startup, and grid-connected trial operation. Moving forward, the project department will closely monitor key milestones and objectives, fully leverage its professional expertise and experience, and advance subsequent commissioning and trial operation work with high quality, ensuring the project is put into operation and power transmission as soon as possible.
