Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Jeddah Visits Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project

On May 27 local time, Mr. Yang Yi, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Jeddah, and his delegation visited the Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project for inspection and guidance. The project leadership team and heads of various departments participated in the inspection.

During the symposium, the Executive Project Manager of the Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project reported on project contract performance progress, on-site staffing, comprehensive management, and safety management system development. After listening to the report, Mr. Yang Yi affirmed the achievements made by the project team in safety control and production contract performance, and put forward the following requirements for subsequent work:

First, strictly adhere to the safety production bottom line. Safety must always be given top priority. Taking into account the current changes in the regional situation, risk awareness and emergency preparedness should be further strengthened to effectively ensure project production safety and personnel life safety, and to guarantee the continued stable operation of the power plant.

Second, strengthen team building and employee care. The off-duty cultural life of employees should be enriched, various forms of cultural and sports activities should be organized, and care and support for overseas employees should be provided diligently, creating a united, striving, warm and harmonious working atmosphere.

Third, enhance the overseas image of Chinese enterprises. The concept of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits of the "Belt and Road" Initiative should be actively practiced. On the basis of high-quality contract performance, the stories of Chinese enterprises should be well told, demonstrating the professional competence and responsibility of Chinese-funded enterprises, and contributing greater strength to deepening friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia.

In the next step, the project will diligently implement the inspection and guidance requirements of the Chinese Consulate General in Jeddah, continuously strengthen lean management of equipment, improve production contract performance capabilities, and make every effort to ensure the long-term safe and efficient operation of the power plant units.
