Rizhao Shangang O&M Project Achieves Successful First-Time Grid Synchronization
2026-04-29
At 17:59 on April 27, Unit 1 of the Huafeng Weiye Company Rizhao Shangang O&M Project was successfully started and synchronized to the grid on the first attempt, marking the successful completion of the 26-day C-level maintenance work.
This C-level maintenance covered key tasks including boiler anti-wear and anti-explosion inspection and treatment, replacement of the segment plate on the primary air side of the air preheater, replacement of the heating surface on the low-pressure section of the medium-temperature economizer, high-pressure water washing of the heating elements of the air preheater, disassembly and inspection of generator bearings No. 4 and No. 5 and the sealing oil housing, uncovering and overhaul of the small turbine, disassembly and inspection of valves in the steam distribution system, inspection and testing of the generator stator and rotor end portions, and transformation of the main and auxiliary frequency conversion cabinets of air preheaters A and B of Unit 1.
Before the maintenance, the project developed a detailed maintenance plan in advance, clarifying operating procedures, responsible personnel, and emergency response measures. During the maintenance period, all maintenance personnel of the project conducted comprehensive "physical examinations" and precise "diagnosis and treatment" on core equipment including the turbine, boiler heating surfaces, electrical switches, and thermal instruments. In response to equipment hazards and operational shortcomings identified during the maintenance process, the project O&M team adopted precise measures and responded quickly, holding daily maintenance coordination meetings, tracking the progress of various specialties in real time, and promptly resolving difficulties and bottlenecks in the maintenance work, thereby promoting the orderly progress of various maintenance tasks. Ultimately, the project team completed a total of 248 standard items and 46 special technical modification items. After the maintenance, all operational parameters complied with design specifications and grid operation requirements, providing a reliable guarantee for the subsequent safe and stable operation of the unit.
In the next step, the project will comprehensively summarize the experience gained from the maintenance and grid synchronization work, continuously strengthen full life-cycle management of equipment, enhance its technical strength in operation and maintenance, and improve its production and contract performance capabilities, ensuring the long-term safe and stable operation of the units.
