Jordan DISI Photovoltaic Project Hosts Expert Training for Combiner Box Operations
2026-04-10
In order to thoroughly implement the company’s "Year of Project Management Improvement" campaign arrangements, further enhance the professional technical skills of overseas project commissioning and operation personnel, and strengthen the safety operation defense line for overseas photovoltaic power plants, on April 9, the Jordan DISI Photovoltaic Commissioning and Operation Project organized a combiner box specialized skills training.
The training covered core content including the working principle, operating specifications, fault handling, and daily operation and maintenance of combiner boxes. During the theoretical explanation session, the training instructor used on-site equipment to provide a detailed breakdown and explanation of the internal components of the combiner box, clarifying one by one the functional positioning, working characteristics, and maintenance points of key components such as fuses, circuit breakers, lightning protection modules, and monitoring units. By referring to the internal wiring diagrams, the instructor thoroughly analyzed the current collection path and equipment protection logic in an easy-to-understand manner, enabling the participants to form an intuitive and clear understanding of the combiner box’s equipment structure and operating mechanism. During the practical operation session, the instructor focused on demonstrating the standard operating procedures for multimeters and clamp meters, guiding participants step-by-step in measuring the voltage and current parameters of each circuit. The instructor also provided detailed explanations on how to view equipment operation data through monitoring modules, accurately determine equipment operating status, as well as methods for identifying and handling common faults.
This training deeply integrated theory and practice, enabling the participants to achieve a transformation from "understanding" to "being able to operate" and from "knowing the theory" to "being able to apply it". In the next step, the project will conduct specialized skills training on a regular basis, further strengthen the construction of the professional team for power plant commissioning and operation, and provide talent support for the high-quality development of the company’s overseas business.
