Company Launches Year of Project Management Improvement Initiative

In order to implement the company’s deployment for the "Year of Project Management Improvement" campaign and further enhance project management level as well as contract performance quality and efficiency, the company held a promotion meeting for the "Year of Project Management Improvement" campaign on March 17. Attending the meeting were members of the Huafeng Weiye Company leadership team, heads of various headquarters departments, and leaders from regional / professional companies and directly managed projects.
The meeting systematically interpreted the objectives, key tasks, and critical indicators of the "Project Management Enhancement Year" activity implementation plan, taking into account the actual situation of the company. It further clarified the responsibilities, task allocations, as well as specific implementation measures and pathways for all units. The meeting pointed out that launching the "Year of Project Management Improvement" campaign is a crucial lever for the company to enhance its core competitiveness. This campaign must adopt a problem-oriented approach, focus on "strengthening the foundation, value creation, and management empowerment", and utilize the PDCA cycle to promote the transformation of project management from an "experience-based" model to a "systematic, lean, and digital" one, comprehensively improving project production performance capabilities and operational control quality and efficiency.
Mr. Peng Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, put forward the following requirements regarding the "Year of Project Management Improvement" campaign: First, adhere to a problem-oriented approach, consolidate core responsibilities, focus on management shortcomings, and promote the effective implementation of tasks such as cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, and talent cultivation. Second, strengthen the solidification of achievements, establish a sound long-term mechanism, transform effective measures into institutional norms, form a virtuous cycle of continuous improvement, and enhance organizational resilience and market competitiveness.
In the next step, Huafeng Weiye Company will continue to follow the company’s requirements for the "Year of Project Management Improvement" campaign, closely focusing on the goal of "five significant improvements", addressing management shortcomings and weaknesses, and comprehensively enhancing the level of lean project management, thus contributing commissioning and operations strength to the company’s high-quality business development.
