Linyi Hengxin Energy O&M Project Achieves Success in Winter Cold and Freeze Prevention

Since the beginning of winter, the project team of Huafeng Weiye Company’s Linyi Hengxin Energy 2×350MW Combined Heat and Power O&M Project has made comprehensive arrangements. Through meticulous planning and multi-faceted measures, they effectively strengthened the winter safety production defense line and successfully completed the winter freeze prevention and power supply guarantee tasks on February 26.

Before the arrival of winter, the Linyi Hengxin Energy 2×350MW CHP O&M Project of Huafeng Weiye Company specifically deployed various freeze prevention tasks, clarifying responsibility division and work requirements. Based on the actual conditions of the equipment, the project O&M team carefully formulated technical measures for winter freeze prevention and emergency plans for extreme cold weather. They detailed the key freeze prevention points for various systems, including the boiler side, turbine side, and electrical systems, improved the emergency response procedures, and conducted plan training and tabletop drills to ensure all personnel understood the measures and knew how to respond.

During the cold weather period, the temperature at the plant site dropped sharply, and several important protection measurement points on the boiler side faced the risk of freezing. The project team immediately activated the emergency response mechanism, strictly implemented the freeze prevention plan, and took targeted measures such as insulation, heating, and unclogging to quickly eliminate abnormalities caused by freezing at the measurement points, thus preventing protection malfunctions and equipment shutdowns. In addition, the project O&M team continuously increased the inspection frequency of key areas and strengthened the implementation of freeze prevention measures such as instrument heat tracing, pipe insulation, and drainage and blowdown, ensuring stable and reliable energy supply.

In the next step, the project team will conscientiously summarize the experience gained in winter freeze prevention work, conduct regular hidden danger investigations for the safe operation of the units, and continuously improve the health level of the equipment, providing a solid guarantee for the long-term safe and stable operation of the units and reliable power supply.
