PT. Bengkulu Power and Indonesia Bengkulu O&M Project Host Charity Event for Safety & Health Month

On February 10, Huafeng Weiye Company Indonesia Bengkulu O&M Project, in collaboration with the owner PT. Bengkulu Power, carried out a Safety & Health Month charity event targeting worshippers at religious sites near the power plant as well as surrounding community members. Through initiatives such as safety education, the project team delivered warmth and care to the local community. This effort deepened mutual friendship and demonstrated Huafeng Weiye Company project team’s steadfast commitment to fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities overseas.

Prior to the event, the Indonesia Bengkulu O&M project team conducted thorough research on the needs of the local community and made meticulous preparations based on local religious customs and livelihood realities. At the event site, the project team organized activities in an orderly manner, distributing daily necessities to worshippers at nearby religious sites and handing out drinking water and household items to passersby and villagers. Meanwhile, using easy-to-understand language, the staff imparted practical knowledge to the local community on occupational protection and everyday safety in the context of their daily production and living scenarios. They explained common types of safety hazards, typical accident cases, and correct emergency response methods in a simple and clear way, effectively guiding the community to develop safety and health awareness and enhance their self-protection capabilities.

This event conveyed the philosophy of "Enterprise and community united in heart, warming the neighborhood together", highlighting the responsibility and commitment of the Huafeng Weiye Company project team to take root locally and give back to the local community. In the future, the project will continue to fulfill its overseas social responsibilities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Bengkulu power plant while proactively organizing more public welfare activities that warm people’s hearts, continuously enhancing the company’s brand image and influence.
