Morocco Jerada O&M Project Honored with Appreciation Letter from SPS

On December 1, the Morocco Jerada O&M Project received a "Letter of Appreciation" from the Moroccan Syndicate for Private Sector Workers (SPS), which highly commended and sincerely thanked the project O&M team for its significant contributions over the years in energy construction and livelihood improvement.
The letter noted that for many years, the Morocco Jerada O&M Project has actively integrated into the local community, consistently contributing to public welfare and livelihood improvement. By taking concrete actions to fulfill corporate social responsibility, the project has injected warm and powerful momentum into local power energy construction, economic development, and livelihood security, earning high praise from Moroccan unions and local employees.
The Morocco Jerada 350MW coal-fired power station serves as an exemplary project of China-Morocco energy cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative, undertaking primary power generation and grid peak regulation tasks for the country. Since its commissioning in 2017, under the meticulous O&M of Huafeng Weiye Company’s project team, the station has exceeded its annual power generation targets for eight consecutive years, with cumulative power generation exceeding 20.613 billion kWh. Continuously providing stable electricity to the local area, it has become Morocco’s most reliable coal-fired unit.
This letter of appreciation represents not only full recognition from the local Moroccan union of Huafeng Weiye Company’s project O&M team for creating high-quality projects through excellent performance and driving local economic and social development through a sense of responsibility but also a vivid testament to the deep integration and mutual benefit in the power energy cooperation between China and Morocco.
