Uzbekistan Zarafshan Wind Power Project Organizes Safety Production Inspection

Since the commissioning of the Uzbekistan Zarafshan Wind Power Project, the Huafeng Weiye Company commissioning & operation team has always placed safety production as the top priority. To ensure the project’s continuous and stable power supply during the summer peak electricity demand period, on June 24, the Uzbekistan Zarafshan Wind Power Commissioning & Operation Project organized a special safety production inspection.

This inspection focused on core equipment and line systems, adopting a "zonal responsibility, cross-mutual inspection" approach, with emphasis on inspecting transformers, SVG (Static Var Generator), and various transmission lines. A detailed inspection was conducted on personnel safety operations, facility and equipment operating conditions, as well as safety signage, education and training safety management records, and emergency response plans. The project established a ledger for issues identified during the inspection, designated responsible persons for rectification, and implemented closed-loop management with item-by-item registration, rectification within a specified timeframe, and verification and closure, further addressing weak links in safety management.

Going forward, the project will take this inspection as an opportunity to continue following the requirements of the Company’s "Year of Project Management Improvement" and "Safety Production Month" campaigns, promptly rectify identified issues, continuously strengthen daily equipment maintenance and risk control, build a solid safety barrier for reliable power generation during the summer, and make every effort to drive the project toward high-quality performance.
