Guangdong Yunfu O&M Project Launches Three Preventions Flood Inspection

In order to effectively strengthen the safety production defense line during the flood season and ensure the safe and stable operation of unit equipment during this period, on April 9, the Huafeng Weiye Company Guangdong Yunfu O&M Project organized a special "Three Preventions" inspection for the flood season.

This inspection strictly followed the company’s relevant requirements for flood control and drought relief, as well as the owner’s (Yunfu Power Plant (B) Plant) "Three Preventions" work arrangements, focusing on key areas and weak links to carry out a thorough grid-based inspection. Detailed checks were conducted on drainage and flood control areas such as the plant’s sump pump room, rainwater pipe network, circulating water pump room, ash and slag pump room, ash field return pump room, and ash dam flood control. The inspection comprehensively checked the operational status of drainage equipment, the drainage and sealing conditions of cable trenches, and conducted specialized tests on lightning protection grounding devices, relay protection devices, and electrical equipment preventive tests to ensure the safety and reliability of the lightning protection and power supply systems. Simultaneously, the project inspected and verified the storage, integrity, and maintenance status of flood control emergency materials item by item, ensuring that these materials are "available, usable, and well-managed".

Regarding the issues identified during the inspection, the inspection team promptly proposed corrective requirements on-site, specifying the deadlines for rectification and the responsible persons, to ensure that all potential hazards are closed out and eliminated. In the next step, the project will take this inspection as an opportunity to continue to maintain a high level of vigilance regarding the "Three Preventions" safety, closely monitor changes in weather and flood conditions, regularly advance hazard identification and rectification, diligently implement and refine various prevention and control measures during the flood season, and make every effort to maintain a continuously stable safety production situation at the power plant.
