Successful Grid Connection of #2 Completed by Indonesia Bengkulu O&M Project

On March 23rd, the operation and maintenance project team of the company in Bengkulu, Indonesia, successfully completed an 18-day temporary maintenance work, and Unit 2 was successfully connected to the grid in one attempt. After grid connection, all operating parameters of the unit were stable, laying a solid foundation for subsequent long-term safe operation and regional energy supply.

At 12:00 that day, upon receiving the official start-up instruction from the Indonesian power grid dispatch, the operation and maintenance team of Huafeng Weiye Company immediately took action, efficiently processed all relevant work orders, and successfully completed the MFT, ETS, and generator-transformer unit protection actions. They also conducted a special safety test to verify the correctness of the interlock protection logic, signal transmission reliability, and equipment action timeliness among the three main engines: boiler, steam turbine, and generator. Subsequently, the boiler was successfully ignited, and the unit start-up procedure progressed steadily. By 19:10, with all core parameters such as main steam temperature, pressure, and steam-water quality meeting the standards, the steam turbine of Unit 2 successfully rotated, marking the efficient conversion of boiler thermal energy into kinetic energy of the steam turbine. At 20:02, with the permission of the power grid dispatch, Unit 2 achieved a successful grid connection and was smoothly incorporated into the power grid system for operation. At 23:00, the unit successfully completed low-load warm-up and officially entered a safe and continuous operating state, with the ability to respond to grid load adjustments at any time.

Next, the project department will continue to follow the deployment of the "Project Management Improvement Year" campaign, persistently strengthen the monitoring and maintenance of unit operations, fully ensure reliable power supply, and assist the company’s overseas business development to steadily progress and achieve long-term success through high-quality performance.
