All Employees "Should Know and Must Know", Strengthening the Safety Production Defense Line —— Pakistan Haveli O&M Project Organizes "Safety Awareness Consultation Day" Training Activity
2024-06-17
To further enhance employees' safety awareness and capability levels, and to ensure the safe and stable operation of the project units, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project organized a "Safety Awareness Consultation Day" training activity on June 17. The project team, along with department and professional heads, participated in the event.
The training session utilized various methods such as case analysis and video teaching, guiding participants to learn important safety standards and regulations in the power industry. These included the "Criteria for Determining Major Power Safety Hazards (Trial)", major accident cases, and high-risk operations such as lifting and confined space work. During the training, participants gained a deep understanding of accident cases within the power industry and recognized the severity and dangers of major accidents nationwide. They also realized the importance of safety production in ensuring the personal safety of frontline workers and the smooth progress of the project. Following this, all participants studied the "Position Knowledge and Skills Card" together and engaged in an in-depth discussion on the general on-site requirements, specific position requirements, and emergency response measures for each position.
Finally, the project summarized the activity and put forward the following requirements for subsequent safety production work:
Firstly, deepen understanding and strengthen responsibility. It is essential to effectively transform the learning outcomes into specific actions and work results for safety production, enhancing the sense of responsibility, urgency, and mission in carrying out safety production work.
Secondly, always maintain a sense of reverence. Learn from past accidents, draw lessons, and keep the alarm ringing. Fully implement the requirements of "equal responsibility for the Party and government, dual responsibility for one post, and accountability for negligence", and earnestly enforce the safety production responsibility system and the "three controls and three musts" requirements.
Thirdly, conduct in-depth inspections and rectifications of on-site safety production risks and hazards. It is crucial to prevent and curb all kinds of unsafe incidents, promote the implementation of the responsibility system at all levels and the knowledge and skills required for each position, and continuously strengthen the foundation of safety production.
This training created a positive environment where "everyone understands safety, and everyone manages safety", further enhancing the safety awareness and protective capabilities of all project members. The project will use this opportunity to continue strengthening safety production publicity and education, implement safety production responsibilities, enhance safety production capabilities, and promote the continuous stability of the project's safety production situation.
