On June 17th, Pakistan celebrated its grand annual festival, Eid al-Adha. To further enhance localization management and foster a united and harmonious working atmosphere among Chinese and Pakistani employees, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project organized an Eid al-Adha celebration to extend their regards to Pakistani employees.
To ensure the smooth execution of this event, the project meticulously planned and organized the activities. They provided holiday gifts and extended heartfelt holiday wishes to the local police, security personnel stationed at the project, and Pakistani employees working on the front lines. The project fully acknowledged the significant role played by Pakistani employees in the project’s operations. The Pakistani employees expressed their gratitude and committed to ensuring the safe and stable operation of the project units with increased enthusiasm, the best mental attitude, and the most solid work ethic. They pledged to contribute even more to the high-quality performance of the project.
Since taking over the operation and maintenance work, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project has strategically utilized local resources to hire Pakistani employees, providing numerous job opportunities for the local community. As of now, the project has employed over 130 Pakistani staff, achieving a localization rate of 85%. Furthermore, the project consistently adheres to the principle of caring for employees, fully respecting the religious beliefs and cultural customs of Pakistan. During the project execution, the project actively fulfills its social responsibilities by organizing various holiday celebrations, allowing Pakistani employees to genuinely feel the warmth of the project’s family. This approach has effectively enhanced the cohesion and sense of belonging among the Pakistani staff at the project.
This visit showcased the humanitarian care that the Company and the project have for their Pakistani employees, further enhancing their sense of belonging and happiness while bridging the gap between Chinese and Pakistani employees. Moving forward, the project will follow the "2024 Management Improvement Year" initiative, continuing to advance the "localization and internationalization" strategy. By fully utilizing local resources, they will strengthen project execution and management, ensuring high-quality and efficient project performance.
