The national standard "Code for Operation of Solar Power Tower Plant", which was co-drafted by the Company, has been officially released and implemented

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China announced that the national standard GB/T 44079-2024 "Code for Operation of Solar Power Tower Plant", co-drafted by the Company, has been approved for release and will be officially implemented starting May 28, 2024.

 

GB/T 44079-2024 "Code for Operation of Solar Power Tower Plant" is overseen by the Solar Thermal Electric Plants of Standardization Administration of China (TC565), with the China National Institute of Standardization responsible for coordinating the drafting of the standard. During its preparation, the Company, as a major drafting unit, was fully involved in the drafting, compilation, and approval stages of this standard. Leveraging its extensive practical experience and technical expertise, the company provided crucial experiential data and technical parameters for the procedures related to monitoring operations, inspection checks, abnormal operations, and fault handling in tower solar thermal power plants.

 

The "Code for Operation of Solar Power Tower Plant", as China's first national standard specifically targeting the operation of tower solar thermal power plants, outlines detailed technical requirements for key aspects such as monitoring operations, inspection checks, handling abnormal operations, and responding to faults. This standard provides standardized and technical guidance and support for the operation of tower solar thermal power plants.

 

The release and implementation of this standard marks the beginning of a new era of "standardization" in the operation and management of tower solar thermal power plants in China. It has a significant positive impact on promoting the healthy development of the domestic solar thermal power industry.
