Striving During the Summer, Swift Action for Flood Control Rizhao Shangang O&M Project Takes Multiple Measures to Strengthen Summer Flood Control and Ensure Safe Production

To further implement the 2024 "Peak Summer Readiness" work deployment and ensure production safety and reliable equipment operation at project sites during the flood season, Rizhao Shangang O&M Project conducted a special inspection activity for summer flood control hazards on July 15.

 

During this activity, the project adhered to the principles of "high standards, strict requirements, thoroughness, and practicality". A comprehensive and detailed inspection was conducted on the rainwater drainage systems and lightning protection grounding facilities both inside and outside the project’s buildings. During the flood control hazard inspection, the project carefully checked and repaired key equipment areas such as the vertical wellheads of domestic water pipelines and the low-lying areas of circulating water pumps, effectively poor drainage and rainwater backflow. Additionally, the project introduced advanced detection equipment and utilized real-time data analysis technology to accurately monitor water conditions, rainfall, and equipment operational status. This further improved the efficiency and accuracy of the flood control hazard inspections, providing strong support for ongoing flood prevention efforts at the project site.

 

Next, the project will continue to optimize the safety prevention and control system, diligently conduct regular inspections during the flood season, and ensure the personal safety of employees and the stable operation of on-site equipment. This will further strengthen the safety defense line during the flood season, ensuring the project units safely navigate the flood period.
