Pakistan Haveli O&M Project has been awarded Pakistan's "Environmental Excellence Award of the Year"

Recently, the award ceremony for the 21st Pakistan National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) "Annual Environment Excellence Award" was held in Karachi, Pakistan. After evaluation by an expert committee, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project was awarded the "Annual Environment Excellence Award" for its outstanding achievements in ecological environment construction and green environmental management mechanisms. This marks the third consecutive year that the project has received this honor since 2022.

The National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH) is a non-governmental organization approved by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Its activities are supported and endorsed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, as well as the provincial governments and the Ministry of Environment. The "Annual Environment Excellence Award" (AEEA) presented by the forum aims to recognize companies and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to sustainable development and environmental protection in the pursuit of a Green Pakistan.

Shaukat Ali, the Manager of the Safety, Health, and Environment Department of the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project, attended the award ceremony on behalf of the project. During the ceremony, NFEH Chairman Naeem Qureshi stated that since the construction and operation of the Pakistan Haveli Project, the project has consistently prioritized ecological and environmental protection. They have proactively assumed social responsibility, organized the project team to carry out public welfare activities such as tree planting and environmental protection lectures, and continuously raised employees' awareness of environmental protection. The project is committed to creating a green environment where humans and nature coexist harmoniously, setting an example for other companies.

This award fully reflects the strong recognition from the local government and all sectors of society in Pakistan for the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project's efforts in improving the local ecological environment and fulfilling its social responsibilities. Moving forward, the project will continue to uphold the philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", focusing on both production operations and ecological protection. Through practical actions, they will contribute to the green and sustainable development of Pakistan, further demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of Chinese enterprises in the country.
