On October 23, the Company held the 2024 annual certificate awarding ceremony for the self-assessment of foreign employees. Peng Hong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Company, awarded professional skill level certificates to the first group of foreign employees in Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project who successfully passed the evaluation and obtained their professional qualifications.
Peng Hong stated that the Company remains committed to the company's 14th Five-Year Plan for Human Resources (Talent) as a guiding framework, placing high importance on the training and development of foreign employees. In September this year, with the support and guidance of the Laoshan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau in Qingdao and the company's Human Resources Department, the first independent skill assessment for foreign employees was successfully conducted, with all 17 foreign employees passing the skill level certification for electricians and centralized control operators. The project should seize this opportunity to further optimize the evaluation process and assessment mechanisms, systematically advance evaluations based on national occupational skill standards, continuously improve the skill levels of foreign employees, and consistently strengthen the company's international talent team.
Next, the Company will further integrate its international talent development with national skill standard evaluations, accelerating the training of versatile international talent to support the high-quality development of the company’s overseas commissioning and O&M business.
