On October 23, Xu He, a deputy bureau-level leader of the Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions, led a delegation to the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union Federation to inspect the construction of the employee service base. Yang Zhongzhao, a Level 3 researcher from the Rights Protection Department of the Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions; Song Xianfa, a Level 4 researcher from the Laoshan District Federation of Trade Unions; relevant staff from the company’s Party-mass Work Department; Li Shangang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Company, the leading unit of the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union; as well as the chairpersons and union staff from various member units all participated in the visit.
During the inspection, Chairman Xu and the delegation visited the employee cafeteria, gym, "Caring Mother" room, night shift rest area, employee home, library, and other facilities in Building C of the Hongtai Plaza. They held a meeting in Conference Room C607 to receive a detailed report on the construction of the employee service base from the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union.
Chairman Xu stated that the services provided by the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union and the well-equipped facilities within the building were impressive and moving. He noted that these efforts align with the Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions' objectives to enhance the quality of life for employees and to build a strong service base for workers. He hopes that grassroots trade unions will act as caring supporters in advancing employee services and as dependable advocates for protecting workers' rights, enabling more employees to enjoy higher-quality services.
In the next steps, the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union will, under the guidance of the company's trade union and the Party-mass Work Department, organize member units to further improve related facilities, enhance the living and working conditions of employees, enrich the resources for employee services, and create brand activities with the unique characteristics of the Hongtai Plaza. This will ensure that a wide range of employees truly feel the warmth of the trade union family.
