On the afternoon of October 15 (local time), Deputy Director of SPU Police Station in Faisalabad, Pakistan, Mr. Naeem Aziz, and his delegation visited the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project for inspection and guidance.
The Pakistan Haveli O&M Project team warmly welcomed Deputy Director Naeem Aziz and his delegation from the SPU Police Station. Accompanied by representatives from various parties, the SPU police representatives toured the security facilities around the project site, gaining detailed insights into the locations of guard posts, security measures, and evacuation routes. Following the tour, the project team organized a security meeting in the conference room. During the meeting, Naeem Aziz expressed strong approval of the security facilities, management systems, and the achievements in security work at the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project. The SPU police representatives emphasized that Pakistan's current security situation is complex and severe, and stressed that Chinese staff at the project must strictly adhere to the approval procedures for travel. In addition to strengthening security measures, employees must use bulletproof vehicles when traveling, and ensure confidentiality regarding details such as timing and routes. At the end of the meeting, Naeem Aziz conducted security training and provided guidance to the project’s security staff. He also urged the entire project team to enhance their awareness of confidentiality, reinforce security measures, and maintain a strict defense line for safety.
This inspection and guidance deepened the information sharing and communication between the project team and the local police station, playing a positive role in maintaining stable and orderly safety conditions for the project’s operations. Moving forward, the project team will continue to monitor the local security situation, optimize and improve on-site security measures and emergency response plans, and fully cooperate with local police in conducting joint emergency drills and security operations. Additionally, the team will further strengthen the joint security defense and control mechanism, ensuring the safety of employees and safeguarding the efficient operation of the project units.
