On November 4, the National Environment and Health Forum (NFEH) Pakistan Fire Safety Award Ceremony was held ceremoniously in Karachi. The Pakistan Haveli O&M Project Department stood out among numerous international and local enterprises for its excellent fire safety management system and practices, winning the 2025 Pakistan Fire Safety Award. This honor signifies that the department’s fire safety management efforts have received high recognition from the local government.

The National Environment and Health Forum (NFEH) of Pakistan is a non-governmental organization under the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), supported by the Pakistani government and provincial authorities. The forum’s "Fire Safety Award" aims to recognize enterprises and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to work safety protection, fire safety management, and safety culture construction.

Since the power plant was put into operation in 2018, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project Department has always prioritized safety management in project operations. It has firmly implemented the concept of "safety first, prevention-oriented, comprehensive management" and built a full-coverage, full-process fire safety management system. In terms of systems, the department formulated detailed rules covering responsibility allocation, facility management, and emergency response by integrating local regulations with project realities. In terms of facilities, it equipped itself with internationally advanced fire early warning, extinguishing, and emergency rescue equipment, and established a regular inspection, maintenance, and calibration mechanism to ensure all facilities remain in optimal combat readiness—effectively enhancing the project’s overall safety control capabilities.

This award not only affirms the effectiveness of the department’s safety management to the local government but also further demonstrates the company’s brand image and influence in Pakistan’s power operation and maintenance sector.
