National Day Holiday Special Safety Inspection Organized by the Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project

To firmly prevent and curb various safety incidents, thoroughly identify potential risks, and ensure the smooth progress of safety production during the National Day holiday, the Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project organized a special safety inspection for potential hazards on the afternoon of October 6, local time.

 

The inspection was led by the O&M project manager, with participation from department managers and specialists. The safety inspection was divided into two parts: firstly, an inspection of the installation work of ID Fan B on Unit 1, focusing on PTW procedures, compliance with confined space operation standards, hot work safety, management of temporary electrical installations, scaffolding, supervision of high-risk activities, and on-site housekeeping. Secondly, an inspection of the natural gas operation area of Boiler 5, concentrating on entry and exit management, the use of tools and equipment, patrol quality, and housekeeping in the natural gas area.

 

The direction of this safety inspection was clear, and the approach was well-structured. The project conducted inspections on the production units with a high standard and strict requirements. For the individual issues identified, corrective actions were promptly strengthened, with specific responsibilities, responsible parties, and completion timelines clearly assigned. This ensured a closed-loop management of potential hazards, successfully safeguarding the safe and stable operation of the project units and delivering an excellent performance in line with the company's work arrangements during the National Day holiday.
 

Next, the project will strengthen on-site inspections by integrating the autumn safety inspection campaign and the special campaign against the "three violations". It will focus on identifying and addressing potential hazards, solidifying the foundation for safety production, and providing strong support for the safe and stable operation of the project.
