On July 15, Huafeng Weiye Company received the certificate of honor issued by the Shandong Electric Power Science and Technology Association, the Shandong Electric Power Industry Association, and the Shandong Electric Power Industry Youth League Working Committee. Huafeng Weiye Company’s “Research and Application of Key Process Technology Innovation for Steam Turbine Maintenance in Power Plants” was awarded the First Prize of the 2025 Electric Power Innovation Award by the Shandong Electric Power Industry Association.
The award-winning project focuses on key technical challenges in power plant steam turbine maintenance. Leveraging the Morocco Jrada O&M Project and the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project, the research delved into three critical areas: resolving disassembly difficulties of deformed turbine components, optimizing the disassembly process for high-temperature and high-pressure side cylinders, and exploring clearance adjustment during turbine maintenance. The project fundamentally addressed the insufficient lifting force during turbine casing opening, broke through the technical bottleneck of on-site disassembly for shrink-ring turbines, and overcame challenges such as performance optimization of gland seal clearance adjustment. Additionally, the project has applied for two invention patents, obtained one authorized utility model patent, secured one software copyright, and achieved two group-level construction methods. Seven professional papers have been published, and the project was reviewed by the China Electricity Council evaluation committee, reaching an overall internationally advanced level.
Moving forward, Huafeng Weiye Company will take this award as an opportunity to accelerate breakthroughs in core technologies, enhance the quality and efficiency of technological innovation, and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the company’s power plant commissioning and operation business.
