On July 13, Win Myint, Executive Director of Electric Power Generation Enterprise (EPGE), visited the Myanmar Thaketa Gas-fired Combined Cycle Power Plant for inspection and guidance. He was accompanied by He Yuxiang, Executive Director of the owner Union Resources & Engineering Thaketa Power Co., Ltd. (UREC), Wang Yongguo, Manager of the Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project, and other relevant project team members.

Accompanied by the parties, Win Myint toured key areas of the plant, including the central control room and generator units. Wang Yongguo then provided a detailed introduction to the real-time operation status of the units, equipment maintenance management procedures, safety production measures, and daily O&M activities of the project team. During the visit, Win Myint cordially greeted representatives of the frontline O&M staff and inquired about the professional development of Myanmar employees in the project.

At the symposium, Win Myint acknowledged the management capabilities and O&M performance of the Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project, particularly in ensuring the safe and stable operation of equipment. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on optimizing unit efficiency, improving full lifecycle equipment management, and strengthening long-term safety production mechanisms.

The inspection further enhanced EPGE’s understanding and trust in the project. Moving forward, the project team will adhere to the principles of "High Standards, Strict Requirements, Detail Orientation, and Pragmatic Implementation" to continuously refine O&M management and contribute to the high-quality development of the company’s overseas operations.
