Successful Completion of the 7th Annual Combined Cycle Unit Output Test at Pakistan Haveli O&M Project

2025-06-22

At 16:00 local time on June 20, the 7th Annual Combined Cycle Unit output test of the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project was successfully concluded. The final output test result was 1162.8MW, surpassing the PPA and O&M contract specification of 1157.31MW.

To ensure the successful completion of this year’s unit output test, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project set up a leadership team for the test. Prior to the ACT test, the team held repeated discussions with the owner regarding the testing procedures, developed the combined cycle unit output testing plan and work schedule, and mobilized on-site personnel for comprehensive inspections to identify and address any unit defects. During this period, the project testing team meticulously checked the accuracy of data collection and testing equipment, repeatedly analyzed operational parameters, optimized the test plan, and successfully completed all performance test preparations.

At 9:00 on June 20, after the power plant unit had been running at full load for 72 hours, Mr. Sajid Jamil, CPPA Technical Manager, Mr. Hanif Jan, Deputy Manager of ISMO, and supervisors from NTDC entered the site to inspect the unit’s recent operational data curves and verify the calibration certificates of the meters. Subsequently, CPPA confirmed the data collection results and calculations, and the test results met contract requirements.

The successful completion of this performance test marks the successful conclusion of the 7th COD year for the project. Moving forward, Pakistan Haveli O&M Project will continue to adhere to the principles of "high standards, strict requirements, detail orientation, and pragmatic implementation”, and will focus on ensuring the safe and efficient long-term operation of the plant units during the peak summer period, contributing more to the company’s high-quality development of overseas business.
