Fighting Hard During May Day for Overhaul, Honoring the Spirit of Labor Company's Guangdong Yunfu O&M Project Advances B-Level Overhaul of Both Units in Depth

From May 1 to May 5, the Company's Guangdong Yunfu O&M Project carried out in-depth B-level overhauls of Units 3 and 4, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

 

The B-level overhaul, scheduled for 23 days, covers a comprehensive scope of 210 core tasks and 818 equipment maintenance operations, including feedwater pump system maintenance, condensate pump system maintenance, flue gas fan impeller replacement, and drain pipeline thickness measurements. To ensure orderly progress, the Guangdong Yunfu O&M Project held a kickoff meeting on April 30 to strategically plan the overhaul, clarify responsibilities, refine work arrangements, and establish dedicated teams for safety, quality, and schedule control. From May 1 to 5, in response to the complex environment with intensive high-risk operations, the team implemented a “three-dimensional inspection” mechanism involving leadership-led patrols, 24-hour dynamic safety inspections, and full-process supervision by team leaders. High-risk tasks were strictly managed with a “one task, one plan” approach and enforced through the “two-permit and three-system” policy, forming a complete risk control chain of hazard identification, rectification, and acceptance. Committed to the goal of “zero defects in equipment”, the overhaul team worked tirelessly through the May Day holiday, eliminating hidden dangers and reinforcing safety with all-angle inspections—demonstrating the dedication and sense of responsibility of workers in the new era.

 

Moving forward, the project will continue to follow the deployment of the "Management Innovation Year" initiative, adhering to the principle of "repairs must be done when necessary, and done well", with a strong focus on strict safety and quality control during maintenance. This will ensure the long-term safe and efficient operation of the units post-overhaul.
