To implement the company’s safety production work arrangements and further enhance safety management, the Company held the Expanded Meeting of the Safety Production Committee for the First Quarter of 2025 on the afternoon of April 28, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Peng Hong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Company. Members of the company’s leadership team, the Safety Production Committee, and heads of various departments and units attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on conveying and implementing the recent safety production documents and meeting directives issued by national ministries, the group company and the parent company. Attendees studied the Group’s Notice on Learning from Typical Accidents and Strictly Implementing Preventive Measures. The Safety Production Committee Office of the Company presented reports on the company’s safety production efforts in the first quarter of 2025, supervision and inspection work, the three-year campaign for fundamental safety improvement, grid-based safety management, and the ongoing verification of safety conditions at the team level based on the “Man, Machine, Material, Method, and Environment” (5M) framework.

At the meeting, Peng Hong reviewed the actual safety production performance of the Company in the first quarter and made arrangements for the second quarter. He emphasized that all departments and units must shoulder full responsibility across the entire safety management chain, take concrete and rigorous actions to implement safety measures thoroughly and in detail, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of safety production work. At the end of the meeting, Peng Hong made specific arrangements for the next steps in safety production:

First, all units must closely monitor key production processes and critical areas, strictly manage high-risk operations, and properly balance safety, cost, schedule, and efficiency to firmly uphold the red line of safety production.

Second, 2025 marks the “Year of Strengthening the Foundation” in the three-year campaign for fundamental safety improvement. All units must firmly implement the tasks of this campaign, continue to advance its initiatives, and effectively enhance the overall level of safety management.

Third, all units must thoroughly study and effectively apply the criteria for identifying major accident hazards, continuously strengthen their awareness of risk and hazard management, promptly carry out targeted inspections and rectification actions in response to identified issues, and work diligently toward the dynamic elimination of potential accidents.

Fourth, all units must integrate green development into every aspect of production and operations, firmly establish the concept of green and low-carbon growth, with leadership taking the lead in practicing low-carbon principles. A comprehensive and long-term mechanism for green development must be implemented to contribute to the achievement of the “dual carbon” goals.

Next, the Company will strictly implement all safety production requirements, with a focus on advancing the three-year campaign for fundamental safety improvement as the main line of action. The company will firmly manage safety work in the second quarter, resolutely eliminate all types of safety hazards, and further elevate its safety management to a new level.
