Chasing the Light, Striving for Strength Luneng Haixi CSP O&M Project Achieves Over 2,000 Days of Safe Unit Operation
2025-03-14
As of March 12, 2025, Luneng Haixi CSP O&M Project has achieved 2,000 days of safe and stable operation, with a cumulative power generation of 3683.5 million kWh. This milestone marks a new record in the project's safe operation and another breakthrough following its all-time high annual power generation in 2024.
Since taking over the O&M responsibilities, the project team of the company has faced the challenges of high altitudes and severe wind and sand conditions head-on. Adhering to the "Three Managements and Three Musts" principle and leveraging the dual-prevention mechanism, the team has implemented integrated control over equipment monitoring, maintenance, and emergency response. By incorporating "integrated O&M management", they have achieved dynamic elimination of potential risks. On the technical front, the team has innovated a new absorber tube panel cleaning protocol, successfully overcoming the challenge of absorber fouling and boosting the plant's heat collection efficiency by 36.7%. Additionally, by optimizing the heliostat hydraulic system and mirror calibration technology, they have maintained a heliostat availability rate of over 98%. As a result, the plant's annual capacity factor has increased for three consecutive years, with an 18% year-on-year growth in 2024. This remarkable achievement highlights the project team's outstanding technical expertise and exceptional performance in contract execution.
Past achievements are just the beginning, and the road ahead remains challenging. Moving forward, the project team of the company will focus on advancing the application of intelligent O&M systems, leveraging predictive maintenance technology to further enhance power generation efficiency. This will contribute to the high-quality development of the parent company’s new energy business, taking it to new heights.
