Company's Saudi Arabia SAAD2 Photovoltaic Commissioning and Trial Operation Project conducts practical training on power delivery in the solar PV area

To further enhance employees' skills in power delivery and switch operation, on February 26th local time, Company's Saudi Arabia SAAD2 Photovoltaic Commissioning and Trial Operation Project organized practical training on power delivery in the solar PV area.

This training was conducted through a "theory + practical" dual approach, aiming to improve the operational staff's compliance with equipment operating procedures and their emergency response capabilities. During the training, the instructor systematically explained the working principles of AIS equipment, the five-locking logic of switching operations, and the key points of coordinating the photovoltaic module strings, inverters, and transformer systems. The instructor also analyzed risk points that are prone to occur during power delivery operations, such as incorrect entry into energized compartments, misclosing of isolating switches, and poor emergency handling of energized equipment failures. Case studies were used to emphasize the importance of the "one operator, one supervisor" dual-position system. In the practical session, the project team adopted a "group rotation + mentor guidance" model. In the substation simulation, participants successively completed the verification of the line switch opening and closing logic and the busbar isolator switching mislocking test. In the photovoltaic area, the focus was on the operation of high- and low-voltage side isolators, inverter operations, and the simulation of fault handling in the ring main unit.

This training is a crucial part of the project team's preparation work prior to power delivery. By simulating real power delivery scenarios, it effectively enhanced the project team's emergency response capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the smooth completion of the photovoltaic area's power delivery and ensuring the high-quality execution of the project.
