On February 9th, the A-level maintenance for Unit 1 at the Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project was successfully completed. The unit was successfully started on the same day and achieved a successful single-grid connection.
This maintenance, as the first comprehensive and systematic overhaul since the commissioning of the Myanmar Thaketa Power Plant, officially commenced on January 1st of this year. It lasted for 40 days and covered tasks such as equipment disassembly and inspection, core component replacement, and system debugging and optimization. A total of 213 maintenance tasks were completed.
During the maintenance period, the project team faced numerous challenges, including technical complexity and a tight schedule. Nevertheless, they adhered to the work principles of "High Standards, Strict Requirements, Detail Orientation, and Pragmatic Implementation". The team scientifically coordinated resources, fully leveraged their professional technical expertise in maintenance, and skillfully applied intelligent inspection and preventive maintenance technologies to systematically address equipment issues. Through the close collaboration and meticulous management of the Chinese and Myanmar technical teams, all maintenance tasks were completed efficiently. After rigorous testing, the unit’s operation parameters met excellent standards, providing reliable assurance for the stable power supply during Myanmar's dry season.
Going forward, the project team will continue to follow the work approach of "Mitigating Risks, Ensuring Contract Fulfillment, Strengthening Management, and Improving Quality and Efficiency". They will focus on further optimizing unit performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the unit operates safely and efficiently over long periods. Through high-quality performance, the team aims to drive the company’s high-quality development to new heights.
