Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project held a kick-off meeting for Summer Peak

In order to ensure Summer Peak period of power generation and steam supply, to ensure the safe and stable operation of the project equipment, On April 26th, Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project held a kick-off meeting for Summer Peak. The project team, managers of each department, professional supervisors, shift leaders and technical backbones attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the project HSE department read out the "2023 Summer Peak Work Plan", and made detailed arrangements and deployment for the project ’s 2023 "Summer Peak Work", and the responsible person of each department reported the work guarantee plan and work focus.

Liu Qiang, deputy project manager, made arrangements and deployment for the work of Summer Peak according to the project implementation situation and emphasized that

First, combined with the project maintenance and peak summer plan, summarize experience, scientific deployment, refine the standards and requirements for the implementation of work, clear work norms and priorities.

Second, adhere to the principle of "safety first", and effectively strengthen personnel safety training, rehearsal work and technical ability training, do a good job of on-site work and implementation of hidden dangers and preventive measures, for the sick operating equipment system, do a good job of accident planning and rehearsal, and effectively improve the overall team’s technical ability and ability to deal with accidents.

Third, do a good job in the key areas of equipment and high-risk areas of equipment inspection quality and refine the standard parameters required for major equipment in the maintenance period should be repaired.

Fourth, managers and team members at all levels should combine the requirements of safety production management, effectively perform their own job duties and safety responsibilities, strengthen safety and technical supervision and management during the period of Summer Peak, and guarantee the successful completion of the task of Summer Peak.

This meeting further clarified the main work objectives of the project during the period of Summer Peak and clarified the next step of safety management ideas.
