Huafeng Weiye Company Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project successfully achieved 100-day of safety production

On August 8, 2023, Company Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project successfully achieved 100-day of safety production. The project owner, Power China Resources Ltd. Myanmar Kyaukpyu Power Generation Co., Ltd., sent a letter of commendation to express the recognition for the pioneering, innovative, and dedicated spirit of the project’s O&M team and all the employees.

Myanmar Kyaukpyu CCPP Project is the first gas turbine project undertaken by Power China Resources Ltd. in Myanmar, and also the second O&M project undertaken by Company in Myanmar. Since undertaking the project, the company has organized a project O&M team to actively participate in various stages from project infrastructure, equipment installation and commissioning, established and improved a standardized O&M system, researched and developed on-site refined O&M plans, comprehensively carried out technical training and practical exercises for production personnel, investigated and handled various hidden dangers and defects, and laid a solid foundation for achieving 100-day of safe production for the project.

Since officially taking over the O&M job of the unit on April 30, the project has actively promoted the Iron Army style, further tightened and compacted safety production responsibilities and measures, continuously improved on-site safety management, strengthened safety risk control and hidden danger investigation, monitored equipment operation status in real-time, effectively dealt with initial gas turbine faults and various on-site defects, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the unit. As of August 8, the project has successfully achieved its first 100-day of safe production.

The project will take this as a new starting point, adhere to the corporate mission, continue to improve the safety production responsibility system, constantly improve the project management level, ensure the safe and stable operation of unit, and make new contributions to the joint construction of the Belt and Road and the relationship development between China and Myanmar.
