Company signs the operation and maintenance service contract for the self-owned internal combustion power plant of SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn.Bhd in Malaysia

On the morning of December 19th, the Company officially signed the trial operation and 2-year operation and maintenance service contract for the self-owned internal combustion power plant of SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn.Bhd in Malaysia with PowerChina Fujian Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. Huang Sheng, Deputy General Manager of the Power Generation Branch of the Fujian Electric Power Engineering Company, and Shi Huaiwei, Deputy General Manager of the Company, attended the signing ceremony and signed the contract on behalf of both parties.

At the signing ceremony, Huang Sheng extended congratulations to the Company for winning the bid. He expressed that the successful signing of the service contract for this project signifies the official start of cooperation between Fujian Electric Power Engineering Company and the Company. He expects  Company to strictly adhere to the contract terms and, in conjunction with the specific circumstances of the project, effectively manage and control project execution, ensuring high-quality and efficient project fulfillment. Shi Huaiwei expressed gratitude for the recognition and trust from Fujian Electric Power Engineering Company. He stated that the Company will take the signing of this contract as an opportunity to comprehensively carry out various coordination tasks in project preparation, ensuring a smooth transition from trial operation to the operation and maintenance period. After the project enters the formal operation and maintenance phase, the Company will leverage its professional technical advantages in power plant operation and maintenance, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the units.

This project adopts German MAN internal combustion engine units, consisting of three 18MW units and one 8MW unit, with a total installed capacity of 62MW. The scope of services for the project includes trial operation and operation and maintenance of the units for two years. This project is the first commercial operation and maintenance project involving internal combustion engine units undertaken by the Company. It also marks the company’s first entry into operation and maintenance projects in Malaysia. The signing of the operation and maintenance service contract for this project fully demonstrates the owner’s recognition of the Company’s professional capabilities and strength in commissioning and operation. This project enriches the company’s portfolio in operating various types of power generation units, adds to its track record in operation and maintenance projects, and has a positive impact on enhancing the company’s brand influence and competitiveness in the power plant commissioning and operation market. It also represents a further step in expanding into the Southeast Asian operation and maintenance market.

Next, the Company will continue to uphold the concept of “onsite performance shapes market expansion”, leveraging its advantages in overseas power plant operation and maintenance project execution experience and expertise in commissioning. The company will dedicate full efforts to the production, operation, and maintenance of project equipment, effectively enhancing project production and performance efficiency. The goal is to collaborate closely with the owner to establish the self-owned internal combustion power plant in Sabah, Malaysia, as a benchmark project for operation and maintenance in Malaysia.
