To accelerate the transition of new employees into their roles and support the growth and development of young employees, Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project of the Company held the 2023 New Employee Symposium and Mentorship Agreement Signing Ceremony on November 7th. The ceremony was attended by the project leadership team, department heads, and all new employees.

During the meeting, the Project Executive Manager, Wu Haifeng, read out the Mentorship Management Guidelines, clearly outlining the purpose and responsibilities of the mentorship program. Both mentors and mentees solemnly signed the agreement. Subsequently, a mentor representative spoke, stating their commitment to the Mentorship program. They expressed their dedication to following the new employee training plan and achieving the training objectives at each stage, keeping records, and conducting regular assessments to ensure the effectiveness of new employee training. A representative of the new employees expressed their respect for the mentors and conveyed their willingness to actively seek guidance from their mentors, learn theoretical knowledge and professional skills, and engage in practical training. They are determined to acquire the skills to excel independently and contribute to the high-quality development of the project through their actions.

In the final part of the meeting, Wu Haifeng, drawing from his personal work experience, presented the following expectations for the new employees: Firstly, to improve safety awareness, master safety skills and knowledge, and take personal protective measures. Secondly, to adapt to role transitions quickly, seize the golden opportunity of the first three years of employment, strive to learn professional knowledge, and increase your knowledge base through learning. In addition, aim to develop into a versatile talent with specialized skills, meeting the company’s diverse needs. Thirdly, it’s important to stress the practical application of theory. During the mentorship process of "transmit, assist, and guide," do not hesitate to ask questions and seek guidance from mentors. Fourthly, to establish self-growth objectives, create a career plan, and realize your own personal value.

Next, the project will rigorously adhere to the mentorship program guidelines, supervising the execution of the new employee training plan. The project will focus on providing comprehensive job skills training for new employees, enhancing their overall competencies and professional skills, all in support of actively contributing to the development of project and the growth of company.
