Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project organised an emergency drill against riot and terrorist attacks

In order to further enhance the security awareness of anti-terrorism and anti-riot, and strengthen the ability of rapid response and emergency disposal in the face of emergencies, on 25 October 2023, the Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project of the Company organised an emergency drill against riot and terrorist attacks, which was attended by project safety management personnel, security personnel, firefighters and the owner.

The emergency drill was held at the east gate of Kyaukpyu O&M Project in Myanmar. Before the start of the drill, the HSE Department clarified the purpose and significance of the drill, and explained and demonstrated the correct use of all kinds of anti-terrorism equipment, skills and precautions when confronting with the robbers and terrorists head-on. Subsequently, the project organised a simulated scenario exercise, where everyone cooperated with each other and used batons and other anti-riot equipment to subdue the “robbers and terrorists”, and the anti-terrorism exercise was a great success.

The terrorist attack emergency drill activities has effectively improved the project anti-terrorism and anti-riot security awareness, enhanced the project in the face of terrorist attacks and self-rescue and self-protection ability. More importantly, it provides a strong guarantee for the safety on site.
