On the afternoon of 15 October, the Morocco Jerada O&M Project held a ceremony for the renewal of the 2022 mentor-apprentice agreement and the signing of the 2023 mentor-apprentice agreement. The project team, the person in charge of the Operation Department and Maintenance Department and 13 pairs of mentors and apprentices attended the ceremony.
The meeting firstly studied and publicised the company’s "Mentor and Apprentice Management Measures", exchanged and discussed the work experience and training plan of new employee training, clarified the purpose of mentor and apprentice and the responsibility of mentor and apprentice, and each professional mentor and apprentice signed the "Mentor and Apprentice" agreement solemnly. Subsequently, the party branch secretary Li Qiusheng put forward requirements to the mentor and new employees, hoping that the new employees respect the mentor, study diligently, take the initiative to communicate and achieve rapid growth, hoping that the mentor has no reservations, teach each other, and actively help the new employees in work and life, and jointly contribute to the development of the project and the company.
At the end of the meeting, Chen Hengwei, the project manager, made a concluding speech: each department must give full play to the role of mentor-apprentice "pass, help, foster" to help the new employees quickly establish a good work ethic and quickly master job skills. Secondly, all mentors should be a teacher, set an example, not only to teach knowledge, but also to help new employees to continuously improve their practical ability. Apprentices should take the mentor as an example, respect the teacher, give full play to their own subjective initiative, and strive to grow rapidly in a short period of time. Finally, the project should effectively do well in the assessment and supervision of the mentor-apprentice work, timely supervision and detection of learning achievements.
