Kuwait Az-south O&M Project held a celebration ceremony for the third anniversary of O&M

At 10:00 a.m. local time on 27th September, Kuwait Az-south O&M Project held a celebration ceremony for the third anniversary of O&M in the central control room. Bader Moussa, operation manager and Ahmad Hussain Alhunaiyan, operation supervisor of the owner, representatives of EPC, the leaders of the project and persons in charge of each department attended the activity.

Li Guofu, O&M Project Manager, expressed his gratitude to Mr Bader Moussa, the owner, for his strong support and all the staff of the project for their important contribution to the safe and stable operation of the unit in the past three years. Li Guofu said, in the past three years, the project O&M team overcame all kinds of difficulties, on the one hand, set up a sophisticated training system to further improve the staff’s skills and professional knowledge, and cultivated a number of excellent O&M talents, which guaranteed the stable and efficient functioning of the O&M team. On the other hand, through regular maintenance, overhaul and upgrading, the unit has operated safely and stably. The total power generation in three years reached 3,937,039 kWh, providing the local community with more reliable and sufficient power security, and laying a solid foundation for meeting the growing needs of local residents for better energy use.

Bader Moussa, Operation Manager of the owner, expressed his gratitude to the project O&M team for their outstanding contribution to safeguard Kuwait’s continuously growing demand for electricity over the past three years. He said that the O&M team of the company was courageous and persevering, overcame the high temperature environment, strictly implemented the O&M programme, and completed the three-year operation and maintenance work of the units in a safe, high-quality and high-efficient manner with rich O&M experience and professional technology.

At the end of the event, the participants held a "cake-cutting" ceremony and took a group photo.
